Thursday Doors – 50
Art Doors
It was just a year ago that I joined the fun of looking for doors and posting regularly to the Thursday Doors challenge. This is my 50th post, only a few times did I not have a weekly post. Here are the artistic doors at an outdoor display that were my first contribution. I started over at Ludwig’s Ramblings, a blog that does not show up in WordPress Reader, and I switched over to this blog with my next entry.
It was a fun year, but the challenge of a weekly post has taken its toll on me, many other projects did not get the attention that they deserve. My resolutions for 2017 aim to change that and with this post I will step back from contributing each Thursday. I will do so with a photo of artistic doors from another exhibit and a spring-time salute!
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world.
This delightful activity is conducted by Norman Frampton. Come join in!

Thanks Ludwig
I know what you mean about having to make choices and reset priorities but do feel free to pop in anytime.
If Monday Window is still in your plans, I will be seeing you there from time to time as well. Cheers my friend 🙂
Thank you Norm. There still is another photo in my Thursday Doors READY folder. Sadly, Monday Window will also be winding down.
I enjoy responding to different challenges, but don’t do any of them every single week. I understand what you mean that they can drag your blog in a direction you weren’t planning. But this is a great selection of doors – perhaps should make a guest appearance now and then!
Thank you very much! I appreciate your encouraging words. I do plan to continue to follow Thursday Doors and the many blogging friends I have met “through these doors”, and I will occasionally share newfound doors.
Ludwig, I love the fun, funky feel of those first two. I understand about priorities and time constraints. I just took a cyber break, my first in 5 years of every day blogging, and quite enjoyed it. I missed everyone, but it was wonderful as well. Do what works for you and we’ll be here.

Thank you Janet. Indeed it is the friends that I have found via the “doors” and “windows”, and my other blogs, that make blogging such a special, wonderful experience. Thank you for being one of them, a very special one at that!
