Thursday Doors – 25

Doors of Downtown Norcross

After my absence of a few weeks I am back with some photos I took this morning in Norcross, beautiful downtown Norcross. My computer had a major hardware update that went gorgeously smoothly, just ten minutes to clone the “C:” drive, a 5-year old, small SSD, to a new large (960 GB), high-performance SSD. Unfortunately the Windows 10 upgrade did not go as well. Kept hanging on “getting ready to download” and “downloading” with nothing happening for hours. Finally found a suggestion that worked (install Windows 10 from the Microsoft site directly) and got the computer going again. A day and a half of agony!

But back to what matters. Here are just a few snapshots of doors. The sun was coming over the buildings and resulted in some lens flare. I couldn’t tell on the screen what I was shooting. That’s the trouble with these small point-and-shoot cameras, it’s more like point-and-hope. The 45 South Cafe is our meeting spot to talk “cameras, computers, and coffee”.

Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world.

The activity is conducted by Norman Frampton.
