Monday Window – 20

Strong Windows

Here are some strong windows, maybe I should say strongly protected windows.

What could warrant such measures? Take a closer look at the last picture. See those barrels? They contain bourbon, some of Kentucky’s finest, Woodford Reserve bourbon. And the windows are on the “Barrel Warehouse” at the distillery, the place where the bourbon is aged. Back in the days when this building was constructed there must have been a lot of “naughty” people around who might have been tempted to climb through a window for a “libation”. To get a feel for the “rest of the story” see my post Making Bourbon , it is from last year, over on another of my blogs.LK8_4212-XW3-1024
