Thursday Doors – 19
Decorative Doors
My very first post in the Thursday Doors challenge showed some decorative doors from a exhibition a couple of years ago. I was reminded of those when I watched an artist putting finishing touches on a door at the Peach Blossom Artisan Market. Here are two magnificent doors from last Saturday’s event. Also, some of the colorful creations from earlier events.
Those tracks on that last door remind me of my last weeks post. Here a photo of a freight train rolling by the Norcross station, and the Peach Blossom Artisan Market, out of view on the right.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world.
The activity is conducted by Norman Frampton.

Oh my gosh, so beautiful. Not only are these doors fascinating, I bet the people who buy them are also intresting people! Awesome entry for this week!
Thank you. Only problem with these doors is what to do with them. Come to think of it – these make magnificent “door prizes”!
These doors in the park are adorable. I could spend hours there.
Indeed they are fun, and you don’t even have to knock to find out what’s behind them. 😉
Wow! Impressive collection, you might have the most colourful and unique collection of this week’s doors.
Thank you, Reverend.
I do try to find unique doors to share, in my archives and around town. This challenge has been a great joy for me. I don’t see it as a competition but as a wonderful way of seeing through the eyes of others in many parts of the world. It also has given me new ways of experiencing the world around me. Everywhere I look for doors and windows – My Monday Window challenge. Just today I realized that I was looking at lots of doors, but wait, you will see them next week.
What a lovely collection of colourful doors. I’d love to have a few of those in our home. Great post 🙂
Really, your family would allow you to do this to doors in your own home? I’ll get the artists after you!
Gorgeous doors, love the colors and designs!
Thank you, Suvi
