Thursday Doors – 8
Doors? Yes, we have doors!
Lots of doors! Indeed so many that they did not fit into one photo. So I took three and stitched them together. This is a street scene from Savannah, Georgia. Just walk down River Street, you will see lots of doors. Inviting doors, with neat treats, trinkets, and pleasant drinks inside. Come along.

River Street – Savannah
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. The activity is conducted by Norman Frampton.

All these doors make me smile! Can you “stitch” pics with Photoshop, or does this give the same effect (end result)as a panoramic lens? Have no idea if the answer if long or short, so do it at your own convenience. 🙂 Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you Jesh,
For these three images I used Microsoft Image Composite Editor to stitch the images and then to do some perspective correction. In ICE that is a simple drag operation. I really like this free program. What is more, I can just select the photos in Photo Gallery and go to ICE in the Create > More Tools option.
Nice one Ludwig – I love those little balconies on each door 🙂
Thank you, Norm. Savannah is a charmer in so many ways!
Ludwig, I love the blue, blue, and more blue! I’d love to be sitting outside having some tea or a drink.

Thank you, Janet. That blue comes from the sky across the river – South Carolina – hey, Carolina Blue!
Love all the color and action in these photos, Ludwig!
Thank you, Deb!
