Artifacts: Transformers
Artifacts: Transformers

An artifact is a man-made object, usually for a practical purpose. Artifact derives from two Latin words, arte, meaning “by skill” and factum which means “to make.”
All around us there are artifacts of our “infrastructure”, the utilities, the things that make our daily lives normal, and the things that remain from some known and unknown activities and needs.
With this image of electrical transformers on a power pole I am starting a series of “square views of artifacts”. Things around us that we rarely pay much attention to. I invite you to join in. Look around you, capture the big and little things, the essentials, and the nonsensical bits and pieces that say “humans were here”. I am tagging this “artifacts”, maybe you wish to do likewise.

You are off to a good start, Ludwig. Now, you might look for a kid’s model of ‘Transformers’ to add to it. LOL
Thanks, Vern. But I am of on another tack. You’ll see.
